Local delivery drivers operate within a city or metro area, returning home each night. Positions range from grocery and beverage distribution to building materials and retail supply chains. Class A or Class B CDL may be required depending on the vehicle.

A Day in the Life

Start early at a distribution center, load the truck, complete 15–30 stops across a route, handle customer signatures and returns, and return to the yard by afternoon.
